Welcome to the official site of Kendriya Vidyalaya, INS Zamorin, Ezhimala which is in the lap of the green Ezhimala hills lulled by the cool breeze of the Arabian sea,stitching one more feather to the Kendriya Vidyalaya family. INS Zamorin is a tiny point in the geographical map of Kerala, located    08 kms away from Payyanur Rly station and 38 km north of Kannur town.

Nearest town is Ramanthali about 2 km away and the nearest airport is at Karipur, Kozhikode - 150 km.

The Vidyalaya was established during the academic year 2009-10 as a branch of KV Payyanur . The school started functioning with classes I to V .It was declared an independent Kendriya Vidyalaya in July 2010 and now there were two sections of class I and one section each of classes II to VIII till march 2011. From April 2011 classes 1 and 2 with two sections and one section from class III to IX. At present the school is functioning in temporary buildings in the Naval Academy Campus, Ezhimala with two section from class I to IV and single section class V to XI.

From May 2012 the Vidyalaya is functioning in the Naval KG Building and will continue to be there till the permanent KV buildings constructed.

The Vidyalaya has more than 550 students on roll.The staff members of the Vidyalaya comprises of 3 TGTs, 4 Misc TGT's,2 PRTs ,1 Music Teacher and 1 UDC 1 LDC and one regular Principal. Ever since its inception the Vidyalaya has been incessantly engaged in imparting quality education ,aiming at the harmonious and all round development of its students .The Vidyalaya envisages to mould children into capable and responsible citizens who will take the nation to greater heights.
